By Website Writer; Mwesigwa Eric, who was paraded at the National Unity Platform (NUP) headquarters by the party President Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert, on the allegations of abduction and torture by Ugandan security agencies, has come out and trashed the allegations.
While appearing at Ministry of Defense and Veteran Affairs headquarters in Mbuya on Wednesday, Eric Mwesigwa told journalists that he was lured by NUP leadership to have wounds inflicted on his body & promised Shs.50Million to pin government over torture.
He claims that his torture was plotted by NUP but they didn’t fulfill what they promised him.
Eric also added that NUP has a drone they use to stage abductions of their own supporters.
His lamentations have since wowed the public, channeling a mammoth of questions to the popular torture-accusations by the opposition to the ruling party National Resistance Movement (NRM).
