The media fraternity is gutted by the untimely death of NTV Uganda reporter Edward Muhumuza who perished in a deadly car accident.
0n 25 March 2023, as part of his daily routine, Edward Muhumuza woke up to execute his duties.
However, he was accelerating at a terrible speed along the Entebbe Express Highway to get to his destination on time.
Unfortunately, as he was exiting the Expressway, opposite the Mpala Toll station, he lost control of the car, and it tumbled several times before coming to rest on the roadside.
Muhumuza, the sole occupant of the vehicle, passed away instantly, and the UBG 323S was irreparably damaged.
The Entebbe Express Highway intervention team and Entebbe Police responded immediately at the scene, but it was too late to save Edward Muhumuza who was already lifeless.
NTV Uganda confirmed Muhumuza’s passing and sent its condolences to his family friends, and relatives.
Details regarding Muhumuza’s funeral are still scanty, but we shall keep you posted.
