Bundibugyo Head Teacher Arrested For Sexually Harassing A 13-Year-Old Girl.

Police has revealed that a school head teacher in Bundibugyo district, identified as Ngwabusa Edson, has been arrested over allegations of sexually harassing a 13-year-old school going girl whose identity has been concealed.

This was revealed by the police spokesperson, Fred Enanga, during the Police weekly security press conference held at their headquarters in Naguru.

While addressing the press, Enanga said the alleged suspect is a 54-year-old man and is the head teacher for Umukudwa Primary School in Bundibugyo district.

It is alleged that Ngwabusa lured the 13-year-old girl into sexually harassing her after he promised to buy her a new uniform and get her a school scholarship.

According to Enanga, he took her to his office and sexually harassed her, and thereafter gave her sh1500.

The girl, he further narrated, went out of the office while crying something that got the attention of the school’s senior woman (a title given to a lady in-charge of the welfare of female pupils/students).

The senior woman, Nakabugo Kudura, immediately reported the matter to Police officers in Bundibugyo district who moved to arrest Ngwabusa.

Enanga said Ngwabusa has since been arrested and will be presented in Court in order for justice to be served.

In a related incident, Police is set to investigate Mubende district education officers after it emerged that Mubende Model Primary School — a school that has been reported to the authorities over cases of male pupils being sodomised — has never been permitted to operate.

It should be noted that the school’s warden, Mbazira Bruno, allegedly sodomised a 13-year-old boy whose identity has been concealed.

Enanga said Police has also confirmed that 8 more boys in the same school were sodomised by the same suspect.

He said Mbazira’s case in the courts of law in Mubende.
