Local singer and presidential advisor Catherine Kusasira and her husband Fred Sseruga are on the verge of losing their house over a National Commercial Bank of Africa loan.
The house in question is situated in Makindye Luwafu on plot 7 block 273 on Abbas Road in Kampala.
The development comes after Catherine Kusasira’s failure to foot a loan of Ugx 100M she borrowed in 2018 to inject into NRM youths projects.
Videos circulating on social media indicate that the bank brokers have already inscribed their phone numbers and other contact information on the property for serious purchasers to get in touch.
Kusasira confirmed the development to Bukedde and noted that the inscribed notices were indeed put up by the bank brokers.
She however expressed her disappointment with some of the NRM government officials, who have steadfastly refused to help her save her property, yet the president had allocated them to follow up on the matter.
