Hypers Kids Africa has been the talk of the town following their feature in American rapper 6ix9ine’s Instagram video.
A few days back, Daniel Hernandez better known as 6ix9ine jetted into Uganda to meet the Hypers Kids Africa in order to feature in his impending music video dubbed ‘Wapae’.
The controversial rapper’s coming to Uganda was low-key, as he travelled with a one-man crew, an iPhone, and a selfie stick to film a video for his forthcoming new single.
A video the rapper shared on his Instagram account yesterday, portrays Hypers Kids Africa, one of the best dancing and acrobatics groups in Uganda taking centre stage in the making of his Wapae music video.
In the next minutes of the video, 6ix9ine clad in an Uganda cranes jersey, makes it rain on the kids with 100 USD notes.
About Hypers Kids Africa
Hypers Kids Africa is one of the best dancing and acrobatics groups found in Uganda Kampala which started with only kids.
The group was founded by a former football player Butindo Moses, who broke his leg before embarking on helping the less privileged street kids.
However, the numbers kept on accumulating each and every day that went by, yet its breadwinner had no stable source of income to sustain them.
This saw Butindo Moses embark on teaching the kids how to dance hence the birth of Hypers Kids Africa in 2013.
Midway through their dancing journey, they were joined by Annie who was linked to the group by the director of one of the NGOs in 2019.
Annie embarked on helping the Hypers through a personal program to provide rent, food and school fees out of her own pocket.
As you read this publication, Hypers Kids Africa is one of the most decorated dancers in the country, and comment over 783 Million followers on Instagram.
