Twenty-four-year-old Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi is trending online for allegedly leaving his wife Abouk Hiba, 36, empty-handed following their divorce.
Abouk reportedly pushed for the separation and expected a hefty divorce settlement of €70 million upon separation.
She accused the PSG star of infidelity, and the two reportedly agreed to end the marriage.
Abouk, however, discovered that all Hakimi’s documents and assets were in the names of the footballer’s mother.
He also sent up to 80% of his wages to his mother, who left court with nothing much to give the 36-year-old damsel in distress.
According to Marca, Abouk dragged Hakimi to court following alleged rumours of rape and sided with the alleged victim. She described the marriage as a failed project.
“After deciding to legally separate and stop living together, while awaiting the divorce proceedings, who would have imagined that in addition to facing the usual pain that comes with a separation,” Marca quoted her as saying.
“And accepting the grief that comes with the failure of a family project to which I had given body and soul, I would have to face this ignominy,” she added.
The couple got married in 2020 and have two children.
