Reports on our news desk indicate that renowned songwriter and singer Jamie Culture real name Jamiru Kasujja is not in his normal mental state.
For a few weeks now, rumours have been making rounds suggesting that Jamie Culture was battling a mental illness.
The claims were confirmed on Saturday by Jamie Culture’s close friend Sam, who maintains that the musician is not mentally sick as initially suggested by a section of people, but rather is possessed by occult forces.
Sam continued by saying that Jamie Culture had approached him in the Makindye Kizungu a few weeks back, pleading for assistance after being kicked out by the people he had been living with.
The two embarked on living together, but Jamie Culture’s situation has been deteriorating every single day.
Jamie’s current mental state is best characterized by bizarre tales about the Kabaka kingdom and the destruction of property.
Sam insisted, however, that Jamie doesn’t require rehabilitation noting that he should be taken to his ancestral home instead to appease his ancestral spirits.
This is not the first time that Jamie is struggling with mental illness; in 2021, fellow musician Mesach Semakula forcefully dragged him into rehabilitation, where he eventually recovered and was discharged.
