Chameleone Brings Bag To Collect Cash As Hamis Kiggundu, Friends Throw Cash At Him

Businessman Hamis Kiggundu and his friends made it rain on Jose Chameleone. Chameleone, who seemed to be performing at a traditional function, found himself showering in notes of 10k and 5k denominations, when he came near the table Kiggundu and his friends were seated.

“Bring my bag,” Chameleone called someone when Kiggundu and his friends started throwing wads of cash at him.

The person he told to bring the bag was prompt and the cash dropped.

“Fill it and bring another one,” Chameleone told his aide, according to a video shared on TikTok.

Jose Chameleone, clad in a Kanzu and a jacket – was singing his hit Baliwa, which resonates with the likes of Hamis Kiggundu, as it talks about schemers who wait until one has succeeded to get close. “Where were they?” is the loose translation of the song’s title.

Kiggundu, who also goes by Ham, is definitely a generous man, or at least that’s the impression he gives in public.

On April 2, he gave Paul Ssembatya and his fiancee Milly Nakibala Shs100 million while attending their wedding launch.

“My boss, as Kiggundu, your son, I’ll get for you Shs100 million,” Hamis Kiggundu said at the wedding launch.

Ssembatya, whose middle name is Mulundannume, is one of the wealthiest businessmen in town. He operates multiple businesses in town, including Kikuubo, arguably Kampala’s biggest wholesale shopping hub.

Paul Ssembatya also owns Ssembatya Arcade on Nabugabo Road, Kampala.

Born in 1984 in Masaka district, Hamis Kiggundu is the chief executive of the Ham Group of Companies, which has invested in different sectors including real estate, agriculture, and manufacturing.
