News details show that in his blogging business, Isma Olaxes (Ibrahim Tusubira) had encountered a prominent city businessman whom he transacted with.
Olaxes was gunned down on Saturday evening near his residence in Kyanja, a city suburb of Kampala.
He was laid to rest at his ancestral home in Nkokonjeru in Buikwe district.
However, it has emerged that the transaction with the businessman left a balance of Shs 6 million which he died without getting.
According to Frank Gashumba, he talked to Olaxes on Wednesday and the deceased was asking him to get in touch with the said businessman so as to pay him.
”I talked to him on Wednesday. He demanded some big person Shs 6 million. He called me to help reach out to the person. He died demanding the person,” Gashumba told mourners yesterday.
After this funeral, he promised, ”I will call the person to ensure that the person pays the money.”
The police continue to investigate Olaxes’ murder to possibly arrive at his killer.
