By Website Writer; Despite testing positive for Corona Virus for the second time, H.E Gen. YK Museveni will be present and address the Parliament on Thursday during the National Budget event at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
Its understood that the 5-Star General will physically attend the Budget ceremony though while observing the Covid-19 SOPs of Social distancing from the public.
“I will be able to address the Parliament tomorrow at a distance of 300m on Budget Day. I had delegated the whole effort to VP Alupo. She will inspect the parade for me, take the salute for the match past and I will make my brief remarks at the end of the budget speech,” H.E YK Museveni told NTV Uganda.
President Museveni has been in self-isolation at Nakasero State Lodge after he tested positive for Coronavirus last week.
His health status has also stopped him from traveling to Ukraine and Russia with 6 other African Presidents for mediation talks.
