Pretty Nicole has plans but her mother has a different vision.
Nicole, real name Emmanuella Musimenta, stunned the internet when she fled the school she was attending in Kasese to return to Kampala.
When the news broke, her guardian took to TikTok to air her disappointment in the teenager whom she felt had betrayed her.
Nicole said she secured transport she used to return to Kampala from a male schoolmate. In an interview with SB4 Media, she claimed she promised to return the money with interest.
While the guardian thought Nicole’s mother had influenced her to quit school, the mother — who was also presented during the interview — said she has nothing to do with it.
Pretty Nicole said she left because she was tired of students and the matron gossiping about her.
She also claimed some teachers were sexually harassing her.
She said she quit school to come to Kampala and study makeup artistry.
A friend studying at Y.M.C.A. Comprehensive Institute convinced her to return to the city. The friend is studying hair styling at the Wandegeya-based institute.
When she got a place to study, her mother found out and removed her from there. She didn’t name the institution in the interview.
Her mother wants her to return to school. Nicole said she’s willing to return but she appears to be interested only in studying for this year.
Her main ambition is becoming a makeup artist though she has also said she eyes becoming a singer.
Her mother is against her joining the music industry.
As she thinks of returning to school, Pretty Nicole is not sure if the guardian who was footing the bills is willing to take on the role again.
When she was leaving school, she left everything they’d bought her there. That she didn’t want to be accused of theft.
In the interview, she claimed she doesn’t have the guardian’s phone number. When she left, she had no plans of returning.
Some reports indicate that she had picked a habit of escaping from school to go partying though she denied that and said she doesn’t drink.
