Organizers of the Purple Party London edition have thanked Pallaso for “showing maturity” by agreeing to cancel his scheduled performance at the show.
Douglas Lwanga told reporters on Thursday evening that Pallaso had voluntarily pulled out of the trip to allow new kid on the block, Alien Skin, to enjoy the spotlight first in London.
“It was more like in school when you are in a food line, and you allow your buddy to go first,” Lwanga said.
“I spoke to him today and he told me; ‘Doug, I can go to London back and forth, but right now Alien Skin is the real deal…they like him a lot and those in the UK are eager to receive him.’”
“So he decided to do the responsible thing and step aside and let (Skin) go first. I thank Pallaso for that maturity,” Lwanga told the press at Entebbe International Airport shortly before setting off with Skin.
His statement came as a bit of surprise, since an earlier one by the London-based Purple Party organizers had no indication of a mutual agreement with Pallaso.
