A friend in need is a friend indeed. This is the foundation of one of Lucky Mbabazi’s memories with fellow presenter Malaika Tenshi. It is not every day that we get to face our fears, and even less when we let others see those fears. Recently when the two were holding hands, it brought back a memory from a trip.
Travelling from Kampala to Arua, Pakuba, by plane takes around 2 hours and can cost up to about Shs300,000 (est.) and above depending on the airline. These types of air travel typically use smaller planes. According to Alternative Airlines, smaller planes experience more turbulence than the big ones because they weigh less and are more likely to move in line with the air.
When the two presenters were air bound for Arua, their aircraft met with some turbulence that threw Mbabazi into freak-out mode. For first-time flyers or those who never get used to the experience, this can be a scary moment and a hand to hold can make all the difference between inner panic and turbulence.
That is exactly what Tenshi did when Mbabazi was panicking, “This reminds me of the time we were flying to Arua, and there was slight turbulence, and I was a little freaked out. @malaikatenshi quickly gave me her hand to hold and said, ” Don’t worry, we are going to be fine.” This memory stuck with me to date.” she captioned a picture of them holding hands again recently.
It seems that moment created a special bond between them because even when they were hanging out recently, the two couldn’t help but hold hands. Mbabazi commented on the habit saying, “I’m not sure why we are holding hands now thou, but I think it’s cute.?”
They weren’t the only ones who found this connection cute. Daniella Atim commented on the picture saying, “It’s super cute to hold hands with people who make us feel loved …?”
Another development in their connection that fans pointed out is the resemblance between them. Many comments pointed out that they could pass for siblings and even twins.
