Former Vice President, Prof Gilbert Balibaseka Bukenya has warned that Uganda musicians and artists who are living large in their prime years will end up like some of old- time legends who left nothing behind and their children are currently struggling.
“The reason you see great artists such as the late (Prince Job Paul) Kafeeero leaving nothing behind for their children, is because in Uganda, artists lack basic training in business,” said Bukenya.
He said so advising local artists to make better business decisions than buying expensive cars and drinking expensive alcohol.
