On Friday, Bebe Cool took to his social media platforms and publicly declared his intention to help ailing NUP chatterbox, Sammy Okanya of the Mighty Family.
Bebe’s move to help Sammy, who’s currently bedridden in Qatar, left many of his followers surprised with others lavishing praise on him for out-smarting nemesis, Bobi Wine.
Bebe Cool, a renowned yellow bus passenger posted; “Sad as a young Ugandan is sick and going through a hard time. We may have different political opinions but the fact remains we all need to be alive and healthy to enjoy our country Uganda today and tomorrow. Young man, you have my prayers. In case anyone is handling him, please reach out coz I would like to support him in case my support is needed. May Allah see you through. Quick recovery Sammy mighty family,” said the Wire Wire singer.
Sammy has always been a formidable force on social media, mobilizing netizens to rally behind the NUP messiah, but apparently, Bobi is yet to sneeze.
Bobi’s silence towards Sammy’s situation has nonetheless snapped Robby, the other half of Da Mighty Family. Robby took to their page and spewed out his frustration in a cryptic post. In the same vein, He lauded Bebe for his kind gesture.
“Banaffe ngabo balinda Ku postinga R.I.P Bebe Cool avudeyo nakola post eno naye Baganda bange Wendi Nina ebibuzo binji nnyo n’amaziga mumutima naye munsabire nnyo,” Robby lamented.
Determined to make his case, he followed it up with a rant in a video clip which he has since pulled down.
