Swangz Avenue singer Winnie Nwagi has gone candid, revealing that she is very shy when it comes to engaging with revellers.
In the course of this week, Winnie Nwagi’s name dominated news columns for all the bad reasons, in light of humiliating revelers at two different hangout spots.
During the just concluded Diamond In UG event at Kololo Independence Grounds, Winnie Nwagi participated in multiple interviews with the media, shedding light on what transpired at an event where she struck a fan with a microphone.
According to Nwagi, she hit the reveller with a microphone because he was rubbing her legs with a visibly filthy rug.
When asked why she harasses revelers at non-corporate events more than she does at corporate ones, Winnie noted that she rarely engages with fans.
She insisted that she is a very shy person who struggles to fraternise with partygoers and that her managers constantly nag her to do so.
The mother of one revealed that while most people in her social circle are aware of her shyness, it can be difficult to convince someone else because they frequently see her on stage.
