Trending Ugandan artist Alien Skin, real name Patrick Mulwana, boasts about not bowing down when Diamond Platnumz “got a chance to work” with him on a collaboration.
For over eight months now, Alien Skin has been dominating the airwaves on different media stations in Uganda with his hit songs.
His social media presence has also soared over the years and he has backed it up well with exciting performances whenever he steps on stage to perform.
Following a sold-out concert at Freedom City a couple of months ago, the artist has increased his booking fees and rarely performs for less than what he believes he is worth.
His choice of collaborations has also been critically rethought as he intends to uplift upcoming artists and rarely works with established stars apart from those who seem to have lost their shine, case in point Clever J.
Not even Diamond Platnumz has been able to please him enough for a collaboration.
While appearing on Galaxy FM recently, Alien Skin revealed how he refused to work with the WCB boss on his recent visit to Uganda for the Comedy Store Foundation fundraising concert.
He noted that he is committed to his principles and that he will never be so desperate just because bigger stars approach him.
“This world is about having a strong heart. I as Alien, I do not kneel down for anyone. Take an example of this small guy who was recently here, Diamond. He got a chance to do a song with me but ask Muhangi what I told him.” Alien Skin
