“How Will Copyright Work In Uganda, When Local Artists Still Pay DJs And Presenters To Play Their Songs??” Alien Skin Challenges Eddy Kenzo And UNMF.

It is quite hard for a Ugandan musician to get massive airplay for their music or content on TVs and Radios without backing it with a bit of monetary promotion.

The musicians that have managed to achieve that have had unavoidably good music which is on high demand from the public. Case in point, Alien Skin.

On the other hand, some artists made it a must to always back their craft with monetary promotion to influence the rotation of their music on different media stations.

Even, internationally, it is not much different for some artists.

The Fangone Forest singer questions how fellow artists plan to make the copyright law work yet they put music schedulers on payrolls.

Alien Skin asked as he poked holes in the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF).

His question was in reference to the UGX 30 billion that was allegedly going to be given to the members of the UNMF.
