In less than a fortnight, the young social media sensation, Pretty Nicole, is gearing up to take her Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), and she’s determined to shine in the upcoming tests.
Known by her real name, Emmanuela Musimenta, Nicole has been diligently preparing for the examinations with intense school coaching, and she exudes confidence that her results will leave everyone pleasantly surprised.
“I cannot reveal too much at this moment, but I can assure you that people should anticipate a first-grade performance. I intend to astound all of you,” stated the 16-year-old, who, not too long ago, candidly admitted to leaving school due to her struggles with academics.
During this crucial period, her guardian, Dr. Kulthum Nabunya, paid her a visit at school and brought a package filled with well-wishes for her success in the upcoming exams. Gifts from Nicole’s friends and supporters from Uganda and Canada were also delivered, including a cake sent by media personality Diana Nabatanzi.
Dr. Kulthum expressed her confidence in the teenager’s academic progress and commended her for her commitment to her studies, defying the expectations of many. She reflected, “I think she has put the naysayers to shame. There were numerous people who doubted our decision when I announced that I was sending her back to school… but here we are.
She hasn’t let me down; she has been a model student, adored by her teachers, and she’s actually performing well academically.
Our hope now is for her to excel in the exams and move on to secondary school. Perhaps someday we’ll celebrate her graduation.”
In response, Nicole expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Kulthum, referring to her as “a true mother” who had set her on the right path.
