Renowned songstress Juliana Kanyomozi recently shared the profound happiness she experienced with the birth of her second child, Taj, describing it as the most joyous moment of her life.
The arrival of Taj, six years after the heartbreaking loss of her firstborn son Keron Kabugo, brought a sense of redemption to the talented artist.
However, the elation was short-lived as rumors began circulating regarding the identity of Taj’s father. Among the various speculations, one particularly outlandish claim suggested that the baby’s father was none other than the First Son, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
During her appearance on the second season of Tusker Malt ConverSessions, Juliana expressed her disbelief at the rumors, stating,
“I cannot even explain how I felt. I found it even very respectful for me and for the First Son. I had never met him physically in my entire life…I just met him recently in Soroti. So I found it wild.”
In response to the rumors that emerged in April of the previous year, Juliana felt compelled to issue a statement, clarifying that she had been in a seven-year relationship with the father of her child and preferred to keep him out of the public eye.
During the Tusker ConverSession, she emphasized that her partner values a private life, and she, too, wishes to maintain a level of privacy.
“I am in a very happy place right now, and I don’t feel like sharing it publicly, but they (fans) refuse to understand,” she remarked.
Regarding the Muhoozi rumors, Juliana revealed that she has learned to navigate the world of social media, choosing to deny unfounded claims the attention they seek. “People run with what can bring the likes, the shares, and the attention.
They will make up stuff just to trend, but what they don’t realize is that those things affect people in their personal lives. I have a family; my son has a wonderful father, and he reads that stuff,” she added.
