Elsa Iradukunda is the new miss Rwanda for the year 2017. Her crowning was after the triumph over the rest emerging overall best. At 19 years the future holds a brightness so great for the teenager who recently completed her high school at king David High school the same school that produced miss Rwanda 2016 Jolly Mutesi.
Elsa represented Western province in the preliminary stages of the pageant and defying all odds to come out top in the end. Guelda Shimwa who had also been tipped as possible winner came second followed by Umutoniwase Linda.
