Buikwe district woman member of Parliament, Judith Babirye has been summoned by the Commercial court to file a defense within 15 days explaining why she sold a piece of land twice. One Ojok, dragged the legislator to court seeking orders to compel her refund his 140 million shillings, the impartial payment he made to her for purchase of the land.
Court documents show the contentious land is located along Kitende-Kawoto in Busiro County valid at 220 Million shillings.
Ojok urges that before the expiry of his purchase-agreement with the Member of Parliament Judith Babirye allegedly sold of the land to a second buyer and refused to refund Ojok’s partial payment.
Ojok contends that the legislator’s actions have caused him untold loss as efforts to recover his money from her have yielded no result.
