Locals with the help of Police have today recovered the body of Namale Christine who was kidnapped yesterday, according to Savannah region police spokesperson ASP Kangave Paul.
10-year-old Namale Christine, a P4 pupil at Blessed Future Primary school at Ngabo was found at 8:00am today lying dead at Bulinde Village, Katikamu S/C in Luweero district.
According to Kangave, “The late was sent for firewood yesterday at 10am and the relatives never sew her again, they started looking for her and reported the matter to local leaders. We have one arrest and a few other suspects at large, the body has been taken to Luweero Health/C 4 for postmortem.”
It’s alleged that Namale’s kidnappers first raped her and then stranged her to death.
Namale now joins the long list of 42 (now 43) people who have so far been kidnapped, with five of them killed by unknown people. She becomes the 6th girl to be kidnapped and killed.
