Nameere seeks to block Nakazibwe US travel in Court as fallout deepens

The fight between top TV hosts is not about to end as Justine Nameere has now run to court to block Faridah Nakazibwe from travelling to the United States of America.

According to the court documents filed before the High Court Civil division, Nameere claims that Nakazibwe is set to leave the country to co-host the official “The Uganda Festival” slated for September 30 to October 3, 2018 at Gaylord National Resort/ Hotel in Washington DC and she more likely not coming back thereafter.

Nameere claims that she has high chances of winning the defamation case she lodged in the same court against Nakazibwe seeking general damages of Shs500m plus interest.

“I am reliably informed through the numerous posts that the respondent (Nakazibwe) is about to leave the local limits of the jurisdiction of this honorable court which will make it hard/ impossible to execute any order/ decree of court against her,” reads in part Nameere’s claim.

Nameere claims that Nakazibwe intends to relocate from Uganda and live abroad permanently and this forthcoming trip she intends to make to U.S.A her opportunity to migrate.

“Unless the respondent furnishes security for the attendance of court, a warrant of arrest should be issued against her (Nakazibwe) since apart from her employment, she has no known assets within the local limits of this honorable court,” Nameere claims.
