Col. Ndahura Atwooki, the former police crime Intelligence commander has been charged before the army court. Today, Ndahura was arraigned before Col. Tom Kabuye the chairperson of the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence court in Mbuya Kampala.
Nduhura was charged with interfering with the process of law contrary to section 166 of the UPDF act 2015. After denying the charges, Ndahura was remanded to Makindye military barracks where his former boss General Kale Kayihura is under detention.
Nduhura was arrested two weeks back by army with other police officers. His arrest forced his wife Sarah Nduhura to apply for herbeus corpus before High Court civil division. The newly appointed judge Musa Ssekana ordered the army and Attorney General to produce him to court on 2rd July.
Ndahura’s wife, Sarah Ndahura dragged the army and the Attorney General to court seeking to have him produced to court .
In her suit, the wife said since the arrest on June 11 from Peace Corner Hotel in Masindi town by the army, family members have been denied access to Col.Atwooki Ndahura.
