By Wycliff G; History was made at Lakeside Adventure Park Uganda on Buule Islands over the weekend as renowned journalist Kyamagero Andrew (Omuntu wawansi) sealed his marriage vows to longtime lover Linda Ndagire with a formidable Roman-themed wedding ceremony.
It was gold and glamour all over the park as the ancient Roman culture wedding reception theories, practices and dressing-code were reincarnated for the first time ever in Uganda.
The exclusive ceremony featured a few invited guests from both families and quite a number of Ugandan celebrities.
The NTV news anchor took it to his social media and emotionally poured-out his experience in the new matrimonial journey with Linda.
“Mikwano From the bottom of our hearts, thank ya for going out of ya way to be at our wedding. It meant so much to look out and see your smiling faces and to have a chance to talk and catch up at the reception. We can’t tell you how much we appreciate it. Our big day was even more unforgettable because ya were there to celebrate it with us. On-Line in-laws, thanks for the love,kubanga twabadde Live and ya comments were so funny,uplifting and phenomenal,” he wrote.
Earlier this year, Kyamagero made his maiden visit to Linda’s ancestral home in Luwero to officiate his matrimonial interests to his in-laws.
This was followed by a civil marriage recognized by the Uganda Registration Services Bureau made last week.
