By Wycliff G; African top music icon Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun famously known by stage names Wizkid is already in the bucolic surroundings of the pearl of Africa.
The self-proclaimed Star Boy touched down early today morning and was warmly welcomed by a huge entourage of his music fans and concert organizers East Meets West & Kasana events.
Wizkid will be taking on his fans in a live music session tonight at Kololo Airstrip and thereafter he will head to La Paroni’s Bar for an after-party before he jets back tomorrow and tickets to the long-awaited concert are still up for grabs at 30K-Ordinary and 70K VIP.
In a press conference held today at Mestil Hotel Kampala, Wizkid promised to bring an electric musical night in Kampala that he has never put-upon his recent two-time performance in Uganda.
The ‘Joro’ hitmaker’s show in Uganda comes in after thrilling revelers hands down in the O2 Arena London, UK in October.
The father of three has also proven as the best African entertainer by performing other countries like; France, Portugal, Sweden, among others.
Born 16 July 1990, Wizkid is a Nigerian singer and songwriter.[3] He started recording music at the age of 11 and managed to release a collaborative album with the Glorious Five, a group he and a couple of his church friends formed. Wizkid signed a record deal with Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E) in 2009. He rose to prominence after releasing “Holla at Your Boy”, the lead single from his debut studio album Superstar (2011).
