By Wycliff G; The long awaited ‘All stars Africa-French Legends’ Football match’ is finally off after Corona Virus cases hyping passed every day in Africa.
This friendly game between Ugandan and African soccer lengends had been slated for this weekend, 21st March, 2020 at Mandela National stadium, Kampala.
According to the event organiser, Mr. Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi, this decision has been taken in the interest of protecting humanity in the Midst of the World wide Spread of Corona Virus-covid 19 pandemic.
“Despite much has been invested in the activities by the French Embassy, MTN Uganda, Guinness, Next Media ,Balaam Marketing and Radio4 but the Preservation of life precedes all else,” stated Balaam.
However, another match date will be scheduled and communicated to the public in due course.

This decision has been taken in the interest of protecting humanity in the Midst of the World wide Spread of Corona Virus-covid 19 pandemic. Though no single case has been reported in Uganda, this decision has been taken as a precaution.
You all may be aware that some major Sports activities and gatherings around the world have been put on hold for the same reasons.
Quite much has been invested in the activities by the French Embassy, MTN Uganda, Guinness, Next Media ,Balaam Marketing and Radio4 but the Preservation of life precedes all else.
In the Same Spirit, we wish to inform the public that the Johnnie Walker Sponsored Live concert featuring the World’s best French Bands Kassav and Vegedream has also been postponed.
Another date for the match and Concert will be communicated in due course.

By last weekend, Corona Virus had manifested East Africa with three pandemic cases already reported in Kenya and another in Rwanda.
This has proven a big threat to all public gathering around the globe such as music concerts, sports, among others with most of them being pulled-off.
