Fangone Forest singer Alien Skin has taken a bold step by announcing the “Nkwacho” festival on the same day as his rival, Abitex Promotions’ “Nkuuka” event. Originally considering selling his festival plans to Abitex, a falling out led Alien Skin to reconsider and independently organize his musical spectacle.
During the press activation for “Nkuuka,” Abitex explicitly excluded both Alien Skin and Ronald Mayinja from the performer lineup.
In response, Alien Skin strategically decided to compete directly by scheduling his festival on the same date, challenging “Nkuuka,” which is slated for Lubiri-Mengo on December 31, 2023.
In a video obtained by this website, Alien Skin revealed that this move was a direct challenge to Abitex. Additionally, he announced a competitive entrance fee of Ugx 10K for the “Nkwacho” festival, undercutting Abitex’s Ugx 15K.
Alien Skin emphasized that his final concert in the music industry would take place at Nakivubo Stadium during the “Nkwacho” festival. This bold move sets the stage for a riveting showdown between the two events and adds an extra layer of intrigue to the year-end music scene.
