Media sensation Zahara Totto has reportedly parted ways with NBS Television in recent days, following a series of tumultuous events.
Prior to her departure, Totto had received two warning letters for instances of indiscipline within the workplace. However, the situation escalated dramatically on Monday when she appeared on air in an inebriated state.
Although she narrowly avoided receiving a third warning letter for her behavior, tensions reached a boiling point when Totto took matters into her own hands, leaving before any official resignation letter could be issued. Witnesses described her departure as emotionally charged, with Totto visibly upset.
The incident that seemingly triggered her exit occurred during her Monday show, which was prematurely terminated due to her alleged verbal abuse directed at her producer, Kasirye Badru. The abrupt end to ‘Uncut yo ku Monday’ left viewers bewildered.
Adding to the chaos, Totto reportedly caused damage to the elevator on her way out of the company premises, showcasing her defiance. Witnesses also claim she recklessly navigated the parking yard, nearly causing accidents in her haste to depart.
These incidents reportedly stem from a salary reduction from 6 million to 2 million Ugandan Shillings due to Totto’s repeated acts of indiscipline.
