As he had promised last year, 2020 with no doubt is seemingly a lit year for Nelson especially after releasing his latest song, Wedding Day.
‘Wedding day’ written by Nelson Mawejje himself, was grounded on an inspirational message of celebrating every time that matrimonial vows are made by lovers around the globe.
Known for his music genre versatility, Nelson unleashes his keen voice onto an Afro-beat arranged and produced by Brian Beats (Beats House).
This immediately certifies it among the top tunes to vibe onto when celebrating milestones in life.

Nelson Mawejje Kato, 24, born of Salongo and Nalongo Sentamu of Kitukutwe Kira. Nelson studied Art and Designing. His strong desire for music started at his youthful stage at Bweyogerere Church of Uganda Primary School, St Johns High school.
Having been born and raised from an Anglican religion subscribing family, also schooled from the same religious background, Nelson didn’t hesitate to emerge his musical career from the church choir.
In 2013, he stepped up professional music releasing his first single; Ekisa kya Yesu in 2016.
This he matched with a massive success in 2017 when he landed a collaboration with top songbird, Maureen Nantume dubbed ‘Linda ekiseera kye’.
Nelson has since embarked at tapping in both gospel and world music styles, recording songs such as; Ampadde, Tonkyawa and Tukomye obukyayi Ft. St Johns church Kazinga Bweyogerere.
With such a phenominal journey, Nelson sticks to be that ‘must-watch’ talent in the country.
