Multi-genre Ugandan singer ‘Bebe Cool’ has arrived safely in Accra, Ghana ahead of the 2018 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) ceremony that is slated for Saturday 24th November at Accra International Conference Centre.
This follows his social media post where he proved delighted to have travelled in the Cock-pit with the pilots all the way from Boston, USA to Ghana. In this same post, Bebe Cool seemed amazed after featuring among USA flight Capt. Ted’s last passengers as he ended his 45-year career today.
“On my way to #Ghana for the #Afrima, took a special cockpit pic with captain Ted after 45 years of service, his last flight is tonight. Congz jajja Ted,” he wrote. The ‘Nsirikamu’ singer is battling with fellow artists at the continent under categories; Best Male in East Africa and Best African Rock.
Meanwhile, rivalry singer and politician Hon. Bobi Wine is also in Accra for the AFRIMA Music Business Summit scheduled for 22nd November 2018 which he will panelist alongside South African music legendary ‘Ivone Chaka Chaka’ and African Music Industry stakeholders. We would like to wish Bebe Cool all the best in the Afrima Awards. We will keep you posted By Wyfy Gibogi
