The longtime awaited Miss Uganda ‘Quinn Abenakyo’ who was also recently voted ‘Miss World Africa’ is finally after arriving this afternoon where she received a heroic welcome.
Abenakyo, who flew in onboard an Emirates flight alongside her chaperone Brenda Nanyonjo, was received in an aura of honor befitting a beauty queen organized by Talent Africa CEO ‘Ally Alibai’ with wife ‘Sylvia Namutebi’ who is also former miss Uganda 2013.
“I am glad I did this for my country,” she said at a brief press conference inside an airport lounge soon after checking out.
Her parents were there too.
Tourism state minister Godfrey Kiwanda, a large delegation of Uganda Tourism Board led by former lands minister Daudi Migereko and former Miss Uganda winners were part of the welcoming team.
Abenakyo, crowned Miss Uganda 2018/19 in August, rose to the dizzying echelons of global fame with her participation in the Miss World 2018 contest.
Quinn is also reportedly programmed to meet H.E YK Museveni today evening at State House Entebbe.
