Nigerian music icon HarrySong’s abrupt visit to Uganda last week has not reaped any silence on lips of many Ugandans especially the entertainment fraternity.
For so long many struggled to find out why the ‘Ofeshe’ singer was in the country not until he posted on his social media appearing on a video shoot set.

Harrysong shot video for his latest single ‘Journey’ with Uganda’s prominent video director ‘Sasha Vybz’ (Savy Films).
Amidst his busy schedule the talent from West Africa also spared sometime to speak on a music show on a local TV ‘NTV Uganda’ over the weekend.
After revealing that he randomly chose to shoot in Uganda upon waking up and finding his team saying he had to shoot a music video, Harrysong went on to explain that Nigerian music is making it big across the continent because they are united and have a unique Nigerian-Afro genre that they have maintained.
When questioned how the music from his motherland Nigeria has developed he said:
“Our problem in Nigeria is not the content, money is not our problem, talent is also not a problem.The music industry in Nigeria is big, if you have a good team to market you in Nigeria you’re settled for life. It is all about marketing”
Harrysong said he was looking forward to hearing what music we have and the beautiful ladies with Anita Fabiola being the first on his list.
The Ofeshe star also cautioned Ugandan artistes to respect the people they have found in the industry, the ones that have set a legacy for them because there’s nothing new that they are going to do that those people haven’t done.
The award-winning musician advised the Ugandan Musicians to always remember music is a business, forget their ego and be humble. Harrysong has released club bangers like Ofeshe, samankwe,Reggae Blues, Tekero.

Harrysong also hint at his latest studio work with Uganda’s Bebe Cool though he refrained from disclosing any further details on this project.
