Songstress Winfred Nakanwagi aka ‘Winnie Nwagi’ could be paving her way out of Swangz Avenue after five years under the record label.
According to liable sources, Nwagi is alleged to have rejected a contract extension under Swangz Avenue after sighting unsatisfying offers in the new contract and misunderstandings with her bosses.
The ‘Matala’ singer is said to have been the bitter ends with her bosses for almost two years now.
She often complains of being in the label denied full services like international concert performances, new audio and video recordings, well-fare, branding, unlike other artistes like Vinka fronted to enjoy all.
It should be remembered that Nwagi was suspended from the label earlier last year after terribly being beaten-up by her hubby sustaining injuries on her face.
This couldn’t enable her perform in public places despite the label collecting her events bookings from different promoters.
Nwagi burst into limelight in 2014 after her successful project under Coke Studio Africa.
However, we are yet to receive an official statement from Swangz Avenue Public Relations team about these allegations.
