Ugandan renowned TV and radio presenter Charles Mwiyeretsi aka ‘Denzel’ is in Nigeria for the 4th edition of the famous reality TV show ‘Big Brother Naija’.
With his optimism and preference for a great sense of style and humor, open-mindedness in others, the Urban TV presenter has already pulled it off just three days in the competition.
Big Brother Naija Season 4 was premiered on Sunday, June 30, 2019, in Abuja, Nigeria.
The Chief Executive Officer of Multi-Choice Nigeria, Mr. John Ugbe, disclosed that the winner of the new season of the reality show will be given N60m worth of prizes.
Big Brother Naija, formerly known as Big Brother Nigeria, is a Nigerian reality competition television series, based on the Big Brother television franchise, in which 12 to 14 contestants live in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize worth $58,252.43 equivalent to 21,000,000 Nigerian Naira at the end of the show by avoiding being evicted from the house by viewers.
The first season of the show first aired on DStv Channel 37 from March 5 to June 4, 2006. The voting results were verified by the auditing company of Alexander-Forbes. A second season of the series premiered on January 22, 2017, and a third season debuted on January 28, 2018.
Denzel is also a former Big Brother Africa housemate. He represented Uganda during the eighth season of the show where he became the first housemate to be evicted on Day 7 after receiving 2/15 votes to save.
Big Brother Africa 8 aka ‘Big Brother Africa: The Chase’ was the eighth season of the Big Brother Africa reality television series, produced by Endemol for M-Net. It began on 26 May 2013, running for 91 days and ending on 25 August 2013. Ikponmwosa “IK” Osakioduwa came back to host the show for the fifth season in a row.
