By Muwanga Deo: While many fans sung along the “siri muyembe” song by rema namakula, little did they know that it was a direct attack on long time lover Eddy Kenzo’s “insufficient love”.
Over the weekend, Rema made a simple inaugural introduction to a one Dr. Sebunya Hamza while in preparation for the actual introduction and wedding around November this year.
As the Gutujja singer and Dr express their love in the air, for poor Eddy Kenzo its tears and heart ache as his darling walked out of his life.
Kenzo’s love was melting ‘Mbilo mbilo’ as one of his songs say losely translated in luganda as faster faster which seemingly made his world turn upside down in what we could call system ‘volongoto’ still borrowing from one of his songs.
Kenzo could not hide his feelings as he went down to social media and wrote a lengthy piece about rema’s decision. “I congratulate you Mr SEBUNYA yogayoga ssebo. Rema mwagale bambi because your the man of her dreams and the reason why she made this big decision, she is living her dreams mashallah…Nkwagala and I remember telling you this in our last conversation 2 weeks back. Era mbadde nkigamba from day one. And you know its not new to you I always told you I love you. I don’t know oba you believed me or not but let me repeat here, nkwagala nyo that’s why you will always be family forever” said brokenhearted lover boy.
Kenzo also made it clear that inspite of the fact that Rema has left her, he will not search for another partner soon.
Lets just keep our fingers crossed on whether they will make amends and reconcile and get back together or its a happy never after for poor Kenzo.
