By Wycliff G; Africa’s legendary artist, also Tanzania’s top Bongo flava musician Ali Saleh Kiba better known by his stage name, ‘Alikiba’ is once again on his way to Uganda after 3years.
It’s now confirmed that the ‘Aje’ hitmaker will be performing live at Lugogo Hockey Grounds come Friday 13th September 2019 courtesy of Nexus Events.
“KAMPALA I can’t wait to see you again kingkiba,” wrote Ali Kiba on his social media.
The highly anticipated show will also feature Ugandan music flava from top local artists such as Sheebah Karungi and John Blaq.
Ali Kiba’s memorable stardom performance in Uganda was in 2016 when he shut down the Blankets & Wine event in Kampala leaving revelers yearning for more.
Ali Saleh Kiba (Ali Kiba) born 1986, is a Tanzanian recording artist, singer-songwriter, and footballer. In 2017 he became the director of Rockstar4000. On 20 May 2016, he signed a deal with Sony Music Entertainment.
Ali Kiba released his album Cinderella which broke record as the bestselling album in East African countries including Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda. He is best known for his hit songs Mwana, “Aje” , “Chekecha Cheketua” “Cinderella”, “Nakshi Mrembo”, “Usiniseme,” “Dushelele”, “Single Boy with Lady Jaydee”, “Mapenzi”, “Yana Run Dunia”, and “Macmuga”, and for his collaboration with R. Kelly and other African musicians on the One8 project.
