By Wycliff G; Songstress Rema Namakula’s newly married husband Hamza Sebunya can’t stop pulling-off the best strokes as he celebrates his biggest academic achievement.
Early this week, the Principal College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at Makerere University presented the final list for the successful students under his college and Dr. Hamza Sebunya happened to feature on the drop under the Degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery class.
Dr. Hamza Sebunya is said to have joined Makerere University Medical School 5years ago after studying a medic related course despite being considered as a mature entrant among the flock that year.
It’s now confirmed that come next week Tuesday, 14th December 2020, Rema’s husband will be awarded with a Bachelor’s Degree of Medicine and Surgery by the University Chancellor Prof. Ezra Suruma witnessed by the guest of honor expected H.E Y.K Museveni President of the Republic of Uganda, Minister of Education & Sports, Hon. Janet Kataha Museveni and the State Minister for Higher Education Hon. Dr. John C. Muyingo.

A total of 13,509 graduands (50.5% female and 49.5% male) will be conferred upon degrees and awarded diplomas during the four-day ceremony at the Freedom Square.
A total of 420 Graduands obtained a Cummulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) above 4.40 hence attaining First Class Degrees.
The best student in the Humanities was Ms. Namukose Rita who obtained a CGPA of 4.92 in the Bachelor of International Business of Makerere University Business School, while Ms. Namayengo Sarah topped the Sciences with a CGPA of 4.83 in the Bachelor of Conservation Forestry and Product Technology of Makerere University.
This is will be another big lifetime achievement for Dr. Hamza after holding a glamorous high budget Introduction ceremony last year with musician Rema Namakula who had dumped her baby daddy,also 2015 BET Award winner Eddy Kenzo.
