By Wycliff G; Basing in Côte d’Ivoire where he had jetted for some music shows last month, Ugandan sensational singer Eddy Kenzo has trashed rumors making rounds on social media that he tested COVID-19 positive.
According to the ‘Semyekozo’ singer, he has not tested Corona Virus positive despite being admitted in hospital after being hit with serious ulcers.
“Siganye I’m sick but not corona and I will be fine Ins hallah,” he wrote.
Kenzo’s ulcers condition worsened after feeding on food with excessive oils and red paper for a long time.
“Nyina bad ulcers ate abantu beno emmele yabwe ebamu buto munji era ne kamulali munji so emmele yeyarese obuzibu,” he added.
The BET Award winner also reveals how he was rescued by fellow Ugandan singer Ragga Dee after he connected him to his sister Ritah and her husband who are also living in Ivory Coast.
These rushed him to hospital and later joined by Kenzo’s friend Stella who prepared some good Ugandan food for him until he stabilized.
The father of two now hopes to be back on his feet as soon as possible as he awaits the end of the lockdown in Uganda before he jets back.
“Nafunye chance nenfuna bana Uganda wano, my brother Raga Dee connected me to his sister Ritah and her husband they are very good people era bebantute mu hospital and Stellah sent me a message on Instagram told me nti abera wano she can help on anything and cooked for us good Ugandan food so I’m ok bambi I’m still weak but I will be fine. However, the singer has expressed disappointment in fabled Ugandan blogger Ashberg Kato who has spearheaded circulating of false info about his COVID-19 status.
“I’m so disappointed in Ashbag kato.”
