By Wycliff G; Prominent singer cum politician Bobi Wine has set the bar so high for all Ugandan artists holding online concerts during this COVID-19 Lockdown.
The Kyadondo East legislative assembly representative who kicked off his concert dubbed ‘Quarantine Special (Ensasagge Munyumba)’ at 10hrs (PM), immediately sparked a remarkable live performance alongside his duet Nubian Li.
The online performance ran for almost 1 ½ hours in company of Solid Band as the singer performed some of his top songs of all time, especially those patriotic in pleasantly lit gardens of his home in Magere, Wakiso.
Bobi Wine’s online concert proved more organized and entertaining compared to his counterparts in the music business as the public viewership shot closely to 3000, which is an abnormal figure registered in history.
“Thank you very much for the love ladies and gentlemen. Your online attendance was amazing (naye olulala mujja kusasula. We apologize for the glitches in our internet but we promise you an uninterrupted version of the show on my YouTube channel by tomorrow,” stated Bobi Wine on his social media.
Bobi Wine beats fellow singers like; Jose Chameleone, Navio, OS Suuna, Ykee Benda, among others companies such as Swangz Avenue, Club Pilsner, Feza, Galaxy FM, all have held their concerts already during this period.
