Longtime Ugandan singer, Halima Namakula is that old item that will build your confidence not to be bothered with the late age even for a single bit.
She will even make you believe that actually age is just a number but not a limitation to someone’s ability.
This follows her remarkable commitment in the music business notwithstanding her 60th birthday landmark earlier this year.
Halima is back on the top musical chats again after almost twenty years with a brand-new song dubbed, Ndikadiwa nawe.
‘Ndikadiwa nawe’ literally means ‘I will age with you’ and it bears Halima’s strong inspirational message of recalling her past experience in life.
The song was written and composed by fellow singer Hanson Baliruno.
To finely reincarnate her renowned music style, Halima preferred the project production to be done at producer, Diggy Baur (Sabula Records).
Visuals were shot, directed and produced by videographer, Aaronaire and compliment Halima’s comeback with her famous dance moves, fashion and music attitude.
In respect of her age-ment also a stronghold in Uganda’s music industry, she made Afrigo Band’s Moses Matovu, 70, feature as the video vixen.
Having bagged a number of masterpieces like; Ekimbeewo, Sambagala, Amber, Cheza, Ddembe, and many more, it’s no doubt that Halima is a remarkable female music brand the country who has stood a taste of time.
