By Wycliff G; Multi-international award-winning Ugandan singer, Eddy Kenzo’s enormous hardwork was rewarded yesterday September 1, 2020 after he was announced the new ambassador for Tourism in Uganda.
In a glamorous ceremony that was held at Sheraton Hotel Kampala, Eddy was tasked with new roles of representing and selling the Ugandan Tourism brand across the world.
His new gig has seen him replace 2018 Miss Uganda, Quinn Abenakyo and her assistants; Socialite Zari Hassan and TV personality Anita Fabiola.
Kenzo’s roles were officially presided over by the State Minister for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Hon. Geofrey Kiwanda Suubi together with other government representatives.
It should also be noted that Kenzo’s entrusted commitment by the government towards Tourism come in after two years he was named the brand ambassador for the same sector in Kenya.
The father of two has since been warmly embraced and congratulated world over towards the new milestone.
