By Wycliff G; Its still a devastating mood for African legendary singer Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone and his team after losing the Kampala City Mayorship race.
The ‘Baliwa’ singer ended fourth in the race as he gathered only 12,212 votes compared to his counterparts; Mr. Kazibwe Daniel Ragga Dee (National Resistance Movement) 23,388 votes, Ms. Nabila Nagayi Ssempala (National Unity Platform) 60,082 votes, and Mr. Lukwago Erias with 194,592.
Kampala City Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago (Forum for Democratic Change) has retained his seat.

The results were announced by Ms Barbra Mulimira, the returning officer at Kololo Independence rounds after the polling day on Wednesday.
This comes just days after the presidential elections that saw another singer cum politician Bobi wine lose to Yoweri Museveni who now extends his 35-year rule.
