By Website Writer; Buganda King, Kabaka Ronald Mwenda Mutebi II’s health is deteriorating yes we must agree.
This was confirmed after he made an appearance at his 66th birthday celebrated scientifically at Lubiri palace in Mengo, Kampala on Tuesday April 14, 2021.
Kabaka Mutebi proved in bad-shape compared to his renowned physical appearance and health.
This has sparked a mammoth of attention among the public on social media as they demand authorities with the Buganda Kingdom to give detailed information regarding their King’s health.
Among them is prominent singer Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool who has on Wednesday expressed his woe after learning about Kabaka’s health.
In his statement, Bebe Cool has questioned the Buganda Kingdom authorities for not flying Kabaka Mutebi abroad for improved treatment.
The ‘Surrender’ singer has also fouled Buganda Kingdom Premier Charles Peter Mayiga and other representatives in the Kingdom for not acting responsibly towards saving Kabaka Mutebi’s health.
Bebe Cool further pleaded to the Commander in Chief, the president of the Republic of Uganda, H.E YK Museveni to intervene Kabaka Mutebi’s declining health before regret for the Buganda Kingdom.
Here is Bebe Cool’s statement:
Am a muganda and a NEW muganda(ataliwankwe) and proud of my culture and tribe.
But sincerely speaking what is the Kabaka of Buganda still doing here in Uganda in such a bad health condition as if we don’t see?? AND EVERY ONE IS SILENT.
All high profile people when sick are urgently flown to countries that have better medical attention but for Kabakas case, buganda esilise nga ne meya Lukwago buli lwafunamu akasujja swiiiiiii Nairobi, yiyiiiiiiii Katikiro, namwe abakulu mu buganda, kigendelelwa ki Kyo?
Ye mama, why even bring him in public for any function in the presence of media in such a condition??????Kumulabisaaaaa?Kiki?
My prayer is to the commander in chief, the president of the Republic of Uganda, please intervene and question the situation that surrounds the King’s health b4 it worsens.
Allah save the King of Buganda.
ALLAHU-AKBAR.
For months now, rumors about Kabaka Mutebi’s sorry state have often surfaced though Katikiro Mayiga trashing them.
Kabaka’s 66th birthday called for a few invited guests including Kingdom officials and other invited guests due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The celebrations featured activities on redefining HIV&AIDS prevention, management, and bolstering the ambitious global target to end the scourge by 2030.
We wish Kabaka Mutebi a quick recovery!
