By Website Writer; Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II and the Nnabagereka Sylvia Nagginda have received the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
The royal couple was vaccinated at the Lubiri (Palace) in Mengo, Kampala today April 16, 2021.
They receive the AstraZeneca jabs after the Buganda Kingdom Premier Owekitibwa Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga also attended his last week.
This comes a few days after Kabaka Mutebi appeared frail at the celebration of his 66th birthday at the Lubiri palace in Kampala.
Kabaka’s health condition has since stirred up social media as the majority criticize the Royal officials for letting him make an appearance in public in such a humiliating condition.
