By Wycliff G; Uganda’s Turn-table Assasins Stuart Kavuma (DJ Slick Stuart) & Roger Kitaka (DJ Roja) are set to wrap-up 2019 in style with their annual mix-tape party.
It’s just a few hours away for the 6th edition of the Annual Mixtape party hosted by DJ Slick Stuart & Roja to go down at UMA Multipurpose Hall Lugogo, Jinja road.
In the company of local singers; Bebe Cool, Beenie Gunter, Allan Toniks, Fik Fameica, and Rema, among others, DJ Slick Stuart & Roja are anticipated to take Kampala City at Stardom tonight.
The multi-talented DJ-duo has formidably been embraced in Uganda’s music industry for five years now and can’t stop cruising on top of the game beating their contenders.
History of the Mixtape Party;
In 2014, DJ Slick Stuart & Roja held their first Mixtape Party at Club Venom, an event that showered revelers deeply till dawn also glanced fellow local DJs with a new edge in their fraternity.
This boosted the duo as they moved on with the idea for the next four years; 2015 and 2016 at Laftaz Swimming Pool, 2017 & 2018 at Golf Course Hotel.
Famously dubbed as the favorite choices for the ladies around town, DJ Slick Stuart & Roja have also rendered a hand in supporting African music talents investing in both audio and videos featuring artists.
Some of their musical projects that have had remarkable airplay on the African continent include; Pon-Mi Ft. Beenie Gunter & Skales, Very Well Ft King Saha, Sunday Ft. Allan Toniks, More of This Ft. Rema Namakula, among others.
