Well, Ugandan International music award winner ‘Eddy Kenzo’ has got no reason to quake his fans’ hearts by putting up such a shocking comment about his future plans regarding his music career. On one of the local radio stations interview, Eddy amused the entire country especially his fans when he revealed that he will be retiring from music in less than a decade time.
Kenzo revealed how he is planning to quit music in a five years to come and concentrate on his upcoming Soccer Academy and Schools business. Kenzo further revealed how his soccer academy (Big Talent Soccer Academy) is soon opening though the training sessions are already on with over 55 players of different age brackets (U-17, 21, 23) and expecting to enroll more children and professional coaches.
He also promised to fly-in great African players like Al-Haji Diouf, Didier Drogba, Kolo Toure, among others which he claims to have known and be-friended in person.
Kenzo also disclosed that he is planning to invest in the Schools business which would contribute to Uganda’s Education system and Africa atlarge.
The ‘Heat’ singer who has been one of the artists highly anticipated to move the Ugandan music flag effectively across international borders for atleast more than two decades or for more years than competitors ‘Bebe Cool’, Chameleone and Bobi Wine have but unfortunately all the wishes could end up in vain.
However, this is not Eddy Kenzo’s first time to claim his music retirement as he is remembered to have said the same words some five years back. We will keep you posted.
