Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu popularly known by his stage name ‘Burna Boy’ is set to return to Kampala after a period of over five years.
Through his Instagram, the Port Harcourt born singer announced his final preparations to perform at Sheraton Kampala Hotel come March 22.
Burna Boy last performed in Kampala in 2014 at the Club Megafest where he put up a massive performance to an extent of tearing apart his pants, headlining news the next morning.
The “On the low” singer also made headlines last year when his popular song “Ye” was confused with American rapper, Kanye West’s eighth album “Ye” named after a shortened version of his name.
This sparked a serious mix up in the industry after finding out that his song now had captured a lot of attention worldwide instead; receiving quite a number of downloads after the confusion.
As of a few hours ago the 27-year-old, nearly broke the internet after a video of him shirtless with UK rapper Steflon Don went viral sparking.
Burna Boy is popular for his songs like; Don Gorgon, On the low, Yawa, Check and Balance, among others that have greatly stormed world over.
