Jose Chameleone’s DNA Bar Faces Closure

It looks like Kampala’s newest night hangout ‘DNA Bar and Lounge’ is no more after the drink up point was closed over unclearness operations.

The Kololo based bar was closed on Wednesday night as its management together with revelers were in steamy preps to commemorate fallen singer ‘AK 47’ who died on 16th March 2015.

DNA Bar is famously known to be under ownership legendary singer Jose Chameleone and it opened in December 2018.

According the bar has been running without full clearances from government business operation authorities for almost 3 months.

However, DNA Bar and Lounge management has released a public statement notifying about the incident and kindly apologizing about the on-going situation.

We regret to inform our esteemed customers that our earlier anticipated AKAY 47 night at DNA tonight will not take place due to circumstances beyond our control.

Our three months of operations have been put to a halt by unfinished Authority clearances which we are dedicated to accomplishing as soon as possible.

DNA Lounge is dedicated to serve and intends to continue valueing your support.

A later date will be communicated on when to hold the event.

We will be operational this weekend

DNA has been one unique comfortable hangout for majority of the celebrities in Uganda.

This comes in barely a month ever since other bars within the same location were closed by Kampala Capital City Authority over noise pollution.

Celebrities; Bobi Wine and Barbie, Nina Roz at DNA Bar.

Some of the currently non-operational hangouts include; The Big Mikes Kololo and Atmosphere Bar and Lounge.

Meanwhile, Jose Chameleone is still having a good time with family in their new home in Minnesota, USA.
